Parents,
PhD Hockey is excited to announce our Spring Training Development Programs. These programs are designed for players born between 2014 and 2020 and offer a balanced mix of game play and skill development in a fun, positive environment.
This program will focus primarily on 4v4 gameplay to maximize puck touches and decision-making.
10 total ice sessions over the spring
Sessions held on Saturdays and Sundays, running April 11 to May 10
Each weekend will include:
1 session of strictly 4v4
1 session combining skills & 4v4
(20–25 minutes of skills, followed by 35–40 minutes of 4v4)
The goal of this program is to help young players develop their skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Sessions will be held at Keith Bodley Arena or Oak Bluff Arena.
For our youngest players, each ice session will be divided in half:
One half: 3v3 or 4v4 scrimmage
One half: Two skill-based development stations
Players will participate in warm-up drills and then rotate through the skill stations and scrimmage area.
10 total ice sessions during April and May
Program runs April 11 to May 10
Sessions held at Keith Bodley Arena or Oak Bluff Arena
Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is received.
